Everyone wants a bit of Fanni

Everyone wants a bit of Fanni

Throw in the words 'Fanni`, 'hunt` and 'Newcastle` and instantly you think about pursuing one of the many out of town hen nights down the Bigg Market, complete their veils with cocks on, blow up hunks and 'L` plates. Talk about a one track mind! I doubt when the phrase was put to 100 people (thanks Les Dennis) they would have thought of a suave French defender tagged as the new Lilian Thuram signing for Newcastle for a bargain £3.5m fee (according to his agent).

Apparently Rod Fanni (it just gets better) is due on Tyneside for talks this week as his agent begins the laborious task of hawking him around a selection of Premier League clubs. He has to sign for us, if only so we can say we`ve had both Pinas and Fanni on the books. That`s the Brian Pinas we signed from Holland to the uninitiated. Anyway expect more from his agent, who`ll be keen to get double the commission by flogging us another from his stable in Frank Quedrue.
