Could it be another masterstroke by Big Sam? Fresh from snapping up Geremi on a free, we now have Argentinian midfielder/hatchetman Aldo Duscher on trial at SJP, with the likelihood being a tasty free transfer if he proves his worth. Duscher`s contract at Deportivo is now expired and we can snap up the midfielder who we were linked with a £8m move for under Souness (spit) for nowt. Duscher will no doubt be remembered for smashing Beckham`s metatarsal, rather than his footballing skills in La Liga.

Tedious DD - he'll suit our purposes ideally. Great for a Bosman when you consider the mackems are paying £3m for Chris Baird and Villa will be buying Luke Young for £5m.

geremi is first class piece of business, he didnt play every game for chelsea but thats cause jose of course had to play his "big" (money) signings..geremi is in no way merely adaquate. plus look at the squad needed and geremi is brilliant he can slot in as replacement for barton or alongside and he can cover anywhere across the back four. got geremi scoring off of 2 free kicks next season
