'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Martins Movements

Awaking this morning, the big paper-based surprise was that the Oba Martins` story has yet to be progressed, with some outlets claiming that Arsenal are unwilling to meet our £13m release clause in the player`s contract. Following that up, it looks like Big Sam will have to come out and make clear his intentions for the striker, with Martins looking for talks with the gaffer over his future. Martins said:

"Right now all I know is what I read in the papers. I have a meeting with the manager when I get back to training. We will see what happens then.'

£13m would be good business, with Big Sam's ability to find Bargains!!

probably not in newcastles best interests to sell a striker who has already proved that he can score goals in a newcastle shirt. lets face it - such a player doesnt come along that often.

I agree DD - him, Owen, Viduka and Stroller will make a fine set next season.
