The Newcastle Round Up

The Newcastle Round Up

Not much to catch up on following another snoozy weekend in the papers. Obviously the best story in the papers was about Bruce Willis` naughty exploits with the ice cream loving model in the NOTW but that`s for another time and definitely for another place (Ed. - aye mate, the Sunday Sport). Nevertheless there are a few stories making the grade this morning:

• Geremi - obviously with t`interweb the papers are playing catch up. Breaking news suggests he`s already signed;

• Eidur Gudjohnsen - the Daily Mail says we are trying to push through a £4.5m deal for the Barca forward. If true, at that fee, it`s a steal;

• Brede Hangeland - linked with us in The Times. The club deny receiving a bid however;

• Maceo Rigters - Celtic and Blackburn are both supposed to have leapt to the front of the queue, depending on which rag you read.
