'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Good Morning!

A bonus for waking Magpies this morning as, despite interest from Aston Villa and probably West Ham, we`ve managed to bag Geremi from Chelsea. As far as strengthening the squad goes I`m in absolute awe of Sam Allardyce right now. In the past our transfer policy has always been drib-drab, with players arriving well into pre-season or practically on deadline day, no doubt linked to Shepherd`s hatred of paying players during the summer break. However here we stand on the 2nd of July with four new, and talented faces, in the bag already. Kudos to the big fella.

Geremi is alleged to have undertaken a medical last night and finalised terms. Hopefully this means that Steven Carr could be motoring his way up to Celtic, with the oompah-loompah behind the wheel snarling and acting faux hard man-esque as per usual.

Thought we personally could have got a better signing than geremi personally to stregthen the defence, as Geremi is more attacking minded perhaps somebody such as Lauren or Wes Brown could have been better but im sure Geremi will do a good job at right back in the team aslong as he resists temptation to go forward.

Definitely rate the lad. Will serve us well - we'll need cover though for when he goes to the ACN in January.
