Changing Rooms

It looks as if it won`t just be the players who are getting upgraded this summer. Having seen the training ground at Benton, Big Sam has slated the place, calling it more a squash club than a football club! It`s imminent that work is set to start on the place. Sam has also outlined what he wants from his players in pre-season. The Mirror said:

"We will monitor each individual from day one, building up their all-round fitness and ability. It is true we won't even be training as a group. It will be individual programmes or small groups. Then we will focus on how we want the team to play. I want to make the training ground a better place. It is like a squash club converted. It isn't a place for professional footballers to work on a day-to-day basis. My vision is to create an all-encompassing building that will excite everybody who walks through the door, every day.'
