Sunday Snippets

Not much in the Sunday`s so far as they look to try and sort out up front, rather than the defence. The first story is that Geremi is a man in demand. Apparently Villa are being heavily linked with him as the start to really splash Randy Lerner`s cash.

However the Mail on Sunday has us going for a Chelsea triple hitter, with Lassana Diarra, Geremi and long-term linkee Wayne Bridge all on Big Sam`s wanted list.

Moving further forward it`s no surprise to see Eidur Gudjohnsen being heavily linked, as officials from the club look set to hold further talks with Edmilson`s agent in Barca this weekend. The Express suggests we`ll also be having a cheeky word in the Icelandic international`s ear.

Laughable links to Man City for Michel Owen make up the rest of the tattle in the News of the World.

I'd be ecstatic with Bridge signing. Sadly he only signed a new five year deal at the Bridge last season.
