'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Heading Oba to the Gunners

As many UFO fanatics have often claimed - there`s a conspiracy. It`s interesting that the week before Henry`s seemingly pre-planned move to Barcelona the papers were full of stories revealing that Oba Martins has a release clause within his contract. The fact that when Valencia and Juve were heavily linked to the forward this release clause managed to stay safely under wraps doesn`t go unnoticed. However when Wenger`s mob gets linked suddenly it becomes common knowledge.

The plot thickens when you read that Jonathan Barnett has become the player`s agent. This is the same Jonathan Barnett that has continually bled us dry with Kieron Dyer, aggravated for trouble with Richard Wright and was no way impartial when his client was being heavily linked with Leeds back in 2001/2002. I`ve a funny feeling I know where the release clause leak came from. 10% of any cut of £13m leads to one hell of a cosy year back in London.

The talk is that we`ll be offering Martins a new improved contract that rips up his current one with the get out clause in. However I`d take a sensible wager that Arsene has successfully unsettled our forward in the wake of Va Va Voom`s departure. Expect some more developments this week.

they need a replacement and i hear arsene is very keen that he plays for them, and given the choice arsenal or newcastle its gotta be Arsenal everytime

Barnett is also Ashely Cole's agent. Not a much loved figure around Arsenal either.
Amos.
Homer, You can have him he's **** maybe a player for the future but at your loss of Henry i cant see him filling his boots and i can see a poor season for the gunners again.13million bargin i say get him sold Now

I'm not a Gooner lol, i just dont like Newcastle very much 'they think they are better than they are' if i was to support a team in the prem it would probably be boro, as at least they admit when they have a bad game, if i had to pick a team up north it would be Sunderland. I just think He would prefer to go to Arsenal, lets be honest who wouldn't. I quite like Alan Shearer though he is a pretty good bloke, just a shame about the rest of them Chavs

all over the back of the sun today, it states "Big sam wants martins to stay but knows he might ask to leave if a club of Arsenals stature makes a formal offer" what a kick in the teeth if he goes, i hope for your sake this is just paper speculation

Sam will turn Newscatle around but i think his football in geneal is *****. Bolton were so boring, i think i feel asleep in a Chelsea and Bolton game, and i was on an entire can of sleeping pills. Martins is a quality wee players and i hope for the best interests of the EPL that he stays at newscatle, the EPL is so boring and preditable it needs more challengers to that title.

OMG Newcastle take the poison cross eyed dwarf from Leeds. Keegan must have had a ild stroke before pulling that one out of the hat! Wise, Bates and Leeds deserved each other and finally came together in a crescendo of cheating, fouling, time wasting negativity and now the little scummer has jumped ship to Tyneside. Sorry for you guys!
