'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Rozenhal D-Day

Having seen off Dortmund in the race for David Rozenhal and sorted terms with his agent, a giant spanner was thrown into the works last night when it emerged that Champions League qualifiers and current UEFA Cup holders Sevilla have joined the hunt for the Czech centre half. Having dawdled about for this long, the fact he could be nicked at the last minute really pisses me off.

However…I believe that Sam might be holding off buying centre halves until the Ashley deal is done. This would give him the spending power to bring in the real 'big dogs` at the back, rather than blow most of his current budget.
