Is EMO staying?

Is EMO staying?

Having been the subject over a frenzy of release clauses yesterday, the press seems to have turned full circle this morning and accepted that England`s greatest merchandising asset is actually set to stay on Gallowgate. With Allardyce`s vision of using shrinks and not eating kebabs having swayed Owen into staying, the focus now shifts to Oba Martins as the striker to make way. With Juve sniffing about, according to the Daily Star anyway, it looks like we might end up with 4 target men and Owen next season (Carroll, Viduka, Shola and Alan Smith).

It seems a strange conundrum to keep the player who has never come on record and said he`s staying, yet sack off the player who seems committed to the club. Bizarre.
