Ash passes the magic mark

Ash passes the magic mark

Good news for Mike Ashley today as he finally rocketed past the 75% mark needed to make major changes at the club. From a financial point of view he can now alter the clubs memorandums and articles of association, effectively letting him write his own rule book. With 77% now in the bag, he`s told the Stock Exchange he does want to press on with his plan to get 90% of the shareholding and delist the company, with some saying that July 18th might be the day to circle in your diary.

The future begins now. We've just got to offload the Shepherds and everything will be rosy -- although if we bring in Dein I can't see Allardyce staying around for long.
