Ben on Big Sam

After pocketing the Russian`s roubles and heading for the Bridge Tal Ben Haim said a wistful goodbye to Big Sam, having rejected our gaffer`s advances to take him to St James` Park. Ben Haim said:

'It is a dream come true as Chelsea are the biggest club in the world. It was hard to turn down Newcastle because Sam Allardyce helped me take my first steps in English football, which I will never forget.'
