With Sam dismissing the Tuncay link this morning, Boro confirmed that they had won the race to sign the Fenerbache striker. However a fresh Tyne-Beasts struggle is set to unfold over right winger Gokdeniz Karadeniz. Bolton are reportedly interested but we have stolen a march on them both by making contact. With Emre here and Tuncay down at Boro the lad has company of a native should he need it. £1m is being bandied about as a figure.
