'If It's Football, It's Vital'

EMO back in the saddle

Good news for England`s Michael Owen last night, as he notched a poacher`s finish off a David Beckham cross to beat Gary Lineker`s record for competitive England goals. Finishing off the move against Estonia saw him grab his 37th England goal and move to within 12 of equally Bobby Charlton`s eons old record of 49 goals for the Three Lions. Sheep Teeth McClaren`s lot won 3-0 and remain 4th in the group. Dyer also got a vague run out coming on for Beckham and had a couple of good runs, with no end product natch.

If Dyer stops hesitating in front of goal at times he can be a definate replacement for lampard. But he looks great on the ball. Well done owen. work rate was good.

he had a couple of great opportunities to pull the trigger but kept trying to do assists. Should have had a whack.
