Rozenhal up for move

Good news on the horizon as David Rozenhal has voiced his happiness at being linked to us. In some cracking quotes, the move definitely looks on, with Rozenhal keen to play under Sam and turn out for the lads.

At Vital Newcastle we`re reasonably impressed with what Rozenhal has to offer, some saying that he could be akin to Villa signing Mellberg on the cheap. At £3.3m it`s a definite bargain compared to the £4m, £5m, £6m and £8m we shelled out for Goma, Titus, Marcelino and Boumsong. God, that really does make depressing reading with hindsight!

Anyway, those quotes in full:

'David would love to play for Newcastle. He knows manager Sam Allardyce was also a centre-back and believes he can learn from him. Allardyce was keen to sign David back in January for Bolton and I know he came to watch him play against Wales. David has played for one great club, PSG, but would love to come to the Premiership and play for another. PSG are holding out for the right offer for their player.'

Solid defender from what I've heard, should be better than Bramble anyway.
