In another stroke of genius by our prospective owner Mike Ashley, the billionaire has scooped a nice £30m profit from the sale of his Adidas stake. Having originally paid £183m for it, he has now sold off a chunk of his 3.14% stake in staged batches, reaping us a nice transfer kitty for the pre-season sales and removing accusations of a conflict of interest due to our high profile link up with Adidas.
