'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Titan a Latic

Confirmation has finally come through that Titus`s time without a club is over. Having been released by ourselves in the opening days of Big Sam`s reign, he found himself the subject of initial interest from wheeler dealer extraordinaire Harry Redknapp. However Harry snapped up Hermann Hreidarsson instead, leaving our former centre half with the choice of Fulham, Burberryham and Wigan.

Of these he`s finally taken the plunge with Chris Hutchings` Latics and should jump right to the top of the earner`s table at the JJB. It`ll be interesting to see how he copes with Martins and Owen next season - no doubt he`ll have a stormer for 89 minutes before 'Titusing` it and giving us a winner in the last seconds as his concentrate gives up.

Given their instability last season, I would've thought they'd go in for someone with a bit more of a concrete reputation. He'd have been better off at Pompey with Campbell and Primus to teach him.
