The Dein Machine

In a change from the on-field personnel, former Arsenal supreme David Dein has been earmarked by Mike Ashley as the person he wants to manage the structure of NUFC once the takeover is complete, becoming our new Chief Exec. The pair are near neighbours in Hertfordshire and Ashley believes Dein has the experience to turn Newcastle around. An infamous source added: 'The new man wants to bring in David Dein. He will be given the tools to turn Newcastle into a major force.'

Well it would be great for you guys but I think he will join Arsenal agian when the American take over is complete

I wouldn't object to him coming in; he's proved his competence if nothing else. However, the longer this takeover drags on the less likely we are to make any impressive signings, either on or off the pitch.

Dein's a quality operator - he'd do a good shakeup on the structure.
