Owen and Dyer turn out

Owen and Dyer turn out

In the England v Brazil game tonight Newcastle at least got some sort of representation. Michael Owen got 83 minutes before being replaced by Peter Crouch, whilst Dyer got a 27 minute run out after replacing Alan Smith.

Overall Owen had little in the way of chances whilst Dyer ran around a lot but offered little in the way of an end product. So pretty much standard Newcastle displays from them.

You do realise whilst away with England for a week and half they'll have picked up £270,000 between them. Good return for nothing.
