'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Reo-Coker begging bowl out

In a dramatic comedown from his original demand of Arsenal or Man Utd, Nigel Reo Coker made an open plea through the papers to join the Tyneside revolution. His agent Tony Finnegan said:

"Sam Allardyce knows how to get in contact with Nigel and we would welcome a call. If Sam said he wanted to speak, Nigel would be on the train in a shot. It would be very interesting to see what his plans are for Newcastle."

Hopefully Sam will have nothing to do with the jumped up wingnut. The papers are still focusing on Villa as his main destination, which remains a relief to all us here at VN. Champions League football to the team that finished two places above West Ham. Ooops.
