Waking up this morning you'd think the transfer window was closing in 24 hours. In amongst £30m swoops by Man Yoo for Anderson and a new nanny, there have been significant developments at St James'.
Both the Aussie press and the Sun are speculating that Mark Viduka has managed to right royally rile Gareth Southgate by agreeing to sign for us. The Boro boss, who seems to have a chip the size of a Giant Redwood on his shoulder about NUFC, will no doubt go ape over this one, mainly due to Viduka's constant stringing along of the Beasts. Its a good buy, he gives us height and strengt alongside Owen and he's free. Furthermore he had a really good season and seems to be on form.
