Baines a Bindipper?

In article scarily reminiscent of Alan Oliver's writing style, it seems everyone's favourite Chronicle journo is going under the nom de plume of Lee Ryder. Anyway - the crux of the story is that the Liverpool Victims are apparently sniffing about Leyton Baines and, should they register their interest, will jump to the head of the queue as he's a boyhood Liverpool fan (just like Bellamy...). Man Utd, Spurs and Arsenal also get a mention but the paper seems to be filling space on an otherwise quiet afternoon for transfers.

Incredible that anyone wan'ts to go to Newcastle. Don't, Won't, Can't win anything. Take half decent players Like Bellamy, Duff Parker etc and then lose the decent half.

It is no surprise he would prefer a move to Liverpool over Newcastle. He is ambitious and wants to win trophies and with your very empty trophy cabinet, lack of European football and Sam Alladyce as manager it is no wonder. Kiss goodbye to Baines and while you are at it, say adios to Owen too when he moves to a BIG team with some history and a chance of a trophy.

Lol... Liverpool, overhere in Denmark they are the biggest joke in sports. They whine over loosing the final, when even a blind man can see that their game is higballs and longshots, we call it lottery football. And also their fans who are supposed to be so great, remember those death threats on their walls when Houllier was manager?, Baines is going to chose Newcastle since everyone knows that with Shephard out and with the right financial backing in Ashley, we are not only bigger in our stadium, but will be in all other areas to.... One last thing, we will win the league before ur sorry lot... PS:How come all u Liverpooooolians wrote ur messages at noon?, are u guys all welfare suckers?

Valle1, you are talking through your backside. No amount of investment is EVER going to make Newcastle bigger than Liverpool so don't kid yourself as you will be disappointed for a very long time.FACT! Newcastle have a big stadium and NOTHING else, absolutely NOTHING else. FACT Your biggest ever Trophy parade was Michael Owen. Your envy is our motivation.

With Alladyce as manager you are on the way UP? hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!! You call us "highballs and longshots". Maybe you should look at Bolton for the last 7 years. If we are stuck where we have always been then long may it continue, 3 European finals in 6 years. I guess you are about 12 years old.

Im guessing that u are about half my age, so that would make u 6 kiddo. Liverpool are the poor mans Manchester and u always will be. U live in their shadow and u will never break free. We however will be looking forward to kicking ur ass at St. James next season, and at Anfield to for that matter.

You are too funny. It is pointless trying to educate you if you think we live in Man Utd's shadow. As for Newcastle, a crap team with no history, always have been and always will be We won more trophies in 1 season that you have in your history. Keep dreaming.
