'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Psychopath linked

This morning's papers are speculating that Big Sam is eyeing Joey Barton as a Nolan-esque anchor in the middle of the park for Newcastle next season. In a move that would doubtless polarise the fans, even more than when Lee Bowyer signed, lets roll off Mr Barton's Hall of Shame:

1) Now then, now then - stubbing out a cigar in teammate James Tandy's eye at the clubs' Xmas bash. Barton was dressed as Sir Jimmy Saville at the time.

2) Far East Furore - Alleged to have assaulted a 15 year old Everton fan whilst on tour in Asia during pre-season.

3) Blue Moon - Bared his arse at Goodison Park following abuse from the Toffee's fans.

4) Taxxiiiiii - Arrested for assault and criminal damage in a dispute with a taxi driver.

5) Decking Dabo - Suspended by City at the end of last season for attacking Ousmane Dabo during a training session. Fled the country with scumbag agent Willy McKay.

All in all a crap rap sheet. Keep well clear Sam - the boy's bother.

I think you will sign him to be honest ... its paving the way for Scott Parker to leave so I hear

Look how Sam improved that nasty gobbing piece of work El Haj Diouf. If he can do something like that with Barton he will become one of the best midfielders in the country.

Barton and the Quayside is akin to leaving an arsonist with a box of matches. No way.
SirLes
hope he goes! and he wont become one of the best in the country, overated waste of space!

sort of player Big Sam gets and often sorts out. In this case though, I'd never cheer or clap him, the lad is a scum bag and I don't say that about many people.
MagpieMad
The cigar thing still gets me. Plus the picture of Dabo's face. Rotten to the core.
SirLes
As long as he plays quality football on the pitch, and doesnt cause any unrest in the locker room. i dont mind his past. We need quality and there is no doubt hes got quality and international potential. BSA will sort him out
