Jagielka ruled out

Jagielka ruled out

Following weekend rumours linking us to Phil Jagielka following the Blades` relegation to the Fizzy Pop League, it looks like he`s heading to Everton for a fee rumoured to be about £4m. Despite interest from ourselves and Villa, it turns out he`s keen to make amends at a club he was released from when a junior. As is de rigeur these days he`s activating the ever common release clause. I doubt anyone will begrudge him it though, following some great games for Sheffield Utd this year.

Hope we get more than £4M for him if he does go!!! If Carrick's worth £18M, Jag's is worth at least £8M!!!

That pesky release clause eh? I'd say Owen's worth more than £9m but he's right royally shafted us by having one put in for that amount. At least you didn't fork out £17m for Jags,

That's true! But £4M in today's market is nothing, just look at Nugent. He's not even played a minute of Premiership football and their talking £8M+ for him! Maddness!!!

£10m for Curtis Davies as well. Stupid money for young English players.
