Defoe for EMO

Little and large seems the answer to our quandary as, following Peter Crouch`s links earlier, Jermain Defoe has been the next player linked to the Allardyce revolution. The tag line is that if England`s Michael Owen leaves then the little man will be replaced by the other little man. Hardly a brain surgeon`s knowledge required to put that link into place.

Otherwise Peter Crouch has been quick to come out and deny he`s heading for the exit door at Victimpool. Crouch told SkySports:

'He's (Benitez) told me I'm part of his plans and that's good enough for me. At a club like Liverpool there's going to be competition for places, especially as the manager likes to chop and change.'

If we can get defoe for less than we sell owen for, can't see we'll lose that much and will have a less injury prone player with a point to prove.

Defoe would be the ideal signing for you. I think he is just itching for a move and wants first team football and he will get that at St James Park.
will it ever happen
