'If It's Football, It's Vital'

FFS on Martins and the Zog

Hammer from above for Charles N'Zogbia as Freddie Shepherd didn't exactly mince his words when he delivered his opinion on what the young lad did at Watford. Speaking to the press he said:

'Charles N'Zogbia wants his backside smacked. It's ridiculous. A young man like him who has been here all this time trying to play 'the big star' - he should do it on the field before trying to do it off it. The events of last Sunday were very disappointing. Oba has been on the phone and has said it was a complete misunderstanding. Until we see him face to face I cannot really comment.

Sam's very much a northerner and he encapsulates what the true Geordie supporter is. He's very enthusiastic, very down to earth, which is the main thing and I don't think he'll take any of the backchat we've seen from the players.'

Typical Newcastle to be honest. Never anything different. Shepherd's right about N'Zogbia though.
