Italian Stallions
As with Vital Newcastle every summer we like to keep a track of the weird wacky and wonderful. That`s why, from this Monday gone, we started counting the amount of players the club gets linked to over the summer. We reckon we can top the 150 mark by the time the window shuts at the end of August. So keeping tabs so far we`ve had:
Derek Boateng, Kevin Nolan, Tal Ben Haim, Peter Crouch, Steve Sidwell and Craig Bellamy.
These were today joined by Christian Vieri (Italian press), Christian Brocchi (Italian press) and Marco Zoro (Italian press) as the papers went Azzuri crazy.
Keep up to speed over the course of the summer as we build the comprehensive sh*t list of players.
