'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Sven spotted in KFC

Despite the fact Sam Allardyce seems nailed on as Newcastle boss (then again so was Martin O`Neill…) the agent of former England boss Sven Goran Eriksson has hoyed his client's portfolio into the mixer, as the race to be Freddie`s next puppet, I mean manager, hots up. Athole Still, representing the Swede said:

"There has been no contact whatsoever but if Newcastle were interested, I am sure Sven would be interested in talking to Newcastle.'

Sven is currently at 11-1 with some bookies whilst you`ve hardly given him a ringing endorsement, with just 1% of the next manager vote going his way at the moment. He currently trails Rod Hull and Emu by 19%.
