With the share price of the club seemingly rocketing at the moment, the Daily Express has come out and nailed it's colours to the mast, believing there to be a takeover underway. A quick look at the Stock Exchange figures on Reuters for the last three months will reveal that prices have risen 33% since the end of March. Whether this is anymore than just the usual tittle tattle is up for debate, but the criticism Shepherd has taken over his latest botched managerial appointment might be leaving him licking his wounds and considering his future.
