'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Usual vultures circling

After the News of the World story regarding England's Michael Owen and his alleged release clause a few weeks ago, it seems the dailies have finally caught up, with today's papers speculating on rumoured interest by the Victimpool, Arsenal, Chelski Rentboys and ManYoo. Naturally the release clause has dropped by £3m in value and rather than just the Mancs there's the whole of the 'Big Four' sniffing about. The window hasn't even reopened yet and the fun and games have started. Yippee.

Surely this is just media rubbish. I know you geordie fans love owen but personally I wouldn't want him. I really don't think he would fit into our club as he is an out & out striker. Surely Freddie would've never allowed such a clause in his contract after paying 16 million for him?

If he wants to win things then he has to move, they cant even offer European football to him so what do they expect him to do...??Stick around & waste his career chasing flick ons from Kevin Davies..??Hmmm,i dont think so.........!!

Yous should just get rid of him,I think he wanted to go back to Liverpool from Real.Get a striker who wants to be at Newcastle and can stay fit.He doesnt deserve the money and love you guys give him.
Pking
be certainly interesting to see what he does next season , think him and martins could end up a good partnership IMO !
