Having knocked him back last summer, Glenn Roeder`s volte-face continues with a u-turn to try and sign Sol Campbell. However British Bulldogged faced manager Harry Redknapp isn`t going to give up his top defender without a fight, ridiculing our interest. Speaking to the media he commented:
"Newcastle haven't got a prayer of having Sol, they spoke to him last summer but we got him."
Simple stuff if you`re taking it at face. Besides - will Glenn Roeder even be in charge to buy him or will Shepherd be signing all the players again?
