Bling King for the Lane

As Vital Newcastle reported earlier in the week, there have been rumours flying about that the King de la Bling, Kieron Dyer, is looking to leave SJP in the summer and freshen up (keep it real etc…). With his testimonial two years away, and a healthy crowd of about 10 people expected, he seems to be ready to cut his ties with the club and join up with his good friend, lookalike and equally as overrated a footballer Jermaine 'JJ` Jenas, away from the goldfish bowl and Luke Edwards at the Journal.

Naturally his 80 clicks worth of wages seem to be throwing a spanner in the works with a lot of the papers, especially given that Robbie Keane earns just over half that as their top earner. £6m has also been mentioned as a fee, which would be as helpful to Glenn`s rebuilding plans as shifting our 2nd top earner and getting Sidwell in on a free. This would make far better business sense than keeping a player who goes hiding at every available opportunity (except when the papers come calling, natch).

Please God let there be some truth in this…

i dont *****ing get you guys. Hes a great baller. He aint going newhere and if he does im gonna hav to get my hands round a spurs fans neck. Quality midfielder. One of our best . I laugh at these rumours. HA
Toon4LiFe
The guys an abosolute tool. He's gone missing more than Lucan, Shergar and that guy from the Manic Street Preachers. An utter waste of space for 6 of the 8 years he's been with the club.
BaldEagle
How long does he have left on his contract? anyone know?
oxfordspur
He'll be on fire next season.. cant wait to see him running at defences behind martins and owen. Great pace. Great dribbling Great attacking midfielder

The great Newcastle end of season sale is upon us.Something that i predicted to you about 6 weeks ago.The Bank has asked for its £98mill overdraft it borrowed you back & Freddie doesnt have it.That is a fact, its not woffle or a pizz take. That is why you have your Youth team coach in charge of the 1st team & why Newcastle havent competed in the transfer market recently.Dyer, like many at Newcastle have wages that are obscene beyond belief.Without European football you cant sustain such a crippling wage structure.A classic case of a Man City pretending to be a Man Utd.

Too long Oxford Spur. Signed a new 4 year deal under Souness summer of 2005.

As a Spurs fan, I iz surprised at you guys that wanna keep Dyer. At 80,000 squids a week? He is a disappearing act just like that other ex-Toon git, JJ. I pray you keep him and we don't get saddled with him. Still, at Spurs, we buy loads of pieces of s**t. Why not Dyer? Would Arse, Chel$ or Manure or even Liverpool buy him on those term? Ged oudda here

Please take him kind sir.
BaldEagle
Dyer's as dodgy as a Phil Neville own-goal v ManYoo. He'd be ideal for Spurs JD!

Nowt wrong with Phil Neville ;-0
