'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Comeback Kings

With just three games to go before the longish summer break, two players haven`t got their minds on Napa for a change and are raring to get back to games. Shay and Shola are both looking to get back as soon as possible, Shay more so with the all-time appearances record slowly creeping into view. Anyway Shay and the boss Mr Roeder had a quick natter with the newsies to let them know what`s up with them both:

Shay Speak:

"It was a nasty challenge I took at West Ham and I've had a few problems with my groin since then. I'm going to do a lot more strength work this summer and hopefully I can put the injuries behind me. It has probably been my most frustrating season because I've missed so many matches. The recovery is going all right and I've got a chance of making the Reading game - we will just have to wait and see.'

Glenn`s Grunts:

"When Shola went off to Colorado six or seven months ago to have his hip operation, we were told we would be lucky if he was fit to take part in pre-season training in early July. The thought of Shola playing again this year is amazing and he must be very pleased with himself because he certainly did not think he would be playing again this year, and now he knows he probably will.'

Agree toon4life. Keep them fresh, keep Harper and Carroll happy with a few squad games. Jobs a good un.
Roy4Triggs
simple strategies roy. lets build on what we have for next season. s'not like we hav nething to look forward to this season. (except maybe seeing owen in a black n white shirt).
Toon4LiFe
every position in the prem is worth around half a mil, so you can't afford to rest players tbh.
