Carroll gets a new deal

Carroll gets a new deal

Congrats to local lad Andy Carroll who today got a four-year deal with the club. Following his 45 minutes against Pompey last weekend, the club have been quick to tie the bairn to a new deal. His representative Peter Harrison spoke to the media and said:

"Andrew has been offered a new four-year contract. He is delighted with the way things have been going and obviously the club feel the same. He has been doing really well and he is looking forward to signing an extension.'

Meanwhile his youth team counterpart James Troisi was also celebrating after receiving a first call up to the Australia Olympic squad.

Well done lads.

Cheeky sod. The lad celebrated by banging in a hattrick for the reserves last night at Burra.
