'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Nobby goes nuts

Trumpeteer and outstanding footballer Wor Nolberto has blasted the squad for the series of underachievements that have cost us European football for another season. Speaking out following the disastrous loss to Pompey he ranted:

"It's disappointing to lose another game away from home. We always seem to be talking about not performing on the road. You need to be strong in football, but even more so away from home - and we haven't been. It was so important to beat Portsmouth, although we knew it would be hard because they beat Manchester United here a couple of weeks ago. They are strong at home, but we gave away some chances to them very easily. We could have done a lot better with the goals, and we need to do much better now in our last few games.

We can't use injuries as an excuse for the defeat at Portsmouth - that's not what the fans who came down there want to hear. We know away from home we have to get better for them. If we want to finish in a European place we have to be stronger. In our last four games we have to give it everything we have and look forward to next year by finishing on a high. It's Chelsea next and we know it's going to be hard, but we have to now make the most of our home game"

Good for you Nobby, a player sticking up for the fans, whatever next?

One of the few bright spots on Saturday. Carr should never play at RB again.

Nobs = legend. One of the few that cares about the club.

Agree. It'll be a sad day when he hangs up his boots.
