'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Fat Fred quick out the blocks

"The story is absolute rubbish and I have absolutely no idea where it has come from. I have never spoken to Sven since he was England manager and I don`t have any plans to speak to him."

The words of our inimitable leader in response to the Sven Goran Eriksson story that has cropped up in today`s Times. We`ve heard that one before Fred…

Looks like it's time to buy a swedish phrase book, then lads!!

Newcastle cant afford to bring in a high profile manager, that is after all why Roeder is in the hotseat & will remain so until Newcastle manage to pay the bank the £98million overdraft that they have hanging over them like a black cloud.
chalky76
Of course we can Chalky lad. Glenn's just keeping it warm until Wor Al comes back and gets a £40m warchest.
Roy4Triggs
bring him in - so much club experience AND he hasn't got anyone relegated like Roeder.
BaldEagle
Sign him up. At least he won't blame injuries like Roeder and he can bring that tasty Nancy lass with him.

So what guarantee of success does Shearer bring to the table....??I could be here all day naming great players that just didnt cut the mustard as coaches & im sure you could to.Harry Redknapp would be the ideal man to take Newcastle forward."arry" only plays one way & that would instantly adhear himself to the Gallowgate End.He is also arguably possess"s the best man-management skills in British football.Paulo Di Canio & John Hartson being just 2 of many that he has tamed, channelled & ultimately improved.
chalky76
Chalky - could we deal with Redknapp's reputation for taking an extra bit on the side? Also would he be high profile enough to attract the players we need to challenge the top 4?
