'If It's Football, It's Vital'

EMO Update

With a comeback imminent for England`s Michael Owen, rumour has been rife that he`ll be playing in the reserve game against Man United. This looks to have been knocked on the head by Glenn Roeder. Incidentally the golden boy of English football has been telling Steve McClaren he`ll be fit for the England game at Wembley in June. Why am I not surprised? Anyway here`s what Glenn had to say on his return:

"Michael's been training for a week or so with us, but that's a long way away from Premiership football. We'll step up his training next week. With Michael we're not setting an exact day when he'll play. If he doesn't make that day then there's hysteria. It's an injury you can't put a date on, but he's getting closer to playing.'

He is a worry, so many massive injuries for such a young chap. Hopefully this time his return will stick, the lad deserves some luck.
