'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Gooch in the middle

Rumours emanating from Belgium suggest that our on-loan stopper Oguchi Onyewu is out of the club either way, regardless of whether he gets kept on by us. Liege are after flogging a player who should make a decent saleable asset for them to balance the books with. A sneaky source at the Belgium club added:

'Standard Liege do not want Oguchi to come back and he does not want to come back to Belgium. They want to sell him and, even though they know Newcastle might not sign him, they agreed to let him go on loan to attract interest from other clubs. Whatever happens with Newcastle, Liege will sell him in the summer. He has been linked with Real Madrid, Chelsea and Marseille in the past and there are other clubs as well.'

Chelsea and Real Madrid? Howay man get a grip!

This is what happens when the funds dry up.You get lumbered with these type of clowns.Oguchi (Gucci he aint!) based on what i have seen is the type of player that gets you relegated,in effect yer typical lousy Newcastle defender.Just another in a long line of defensive clowns that has found its way onto Newcastle"s payroll.Oh well at least "this" time Freddie didnt pay a fee for his signature but thats only because the bank has frozen their account after failing to recieve payments on the £98 million that Newcastle owe in overdraft.Newcastle"s woeful showings in recent years have meant that every signing made in the last 2/3 years was with borrowed money & they dont have it to give. With relegation still a possibility & an outlay that far outweighs your income it really does look bleak for Newcastle.Thing is everyone has seen this coming for a long time,Freddie"s transfer dealings & carelesness with the cash flow has put the future of Newcastle United in grave danger.Roeder isnt in charge out of choice, even Fat Fred isnt that stupid..!They foolishly thought they were Manchester United when in reality they are no bigger than Manchester City.RIP Newcastle.??
