'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Roeder and Shay report in

Having had a few of his players involved in the midweekers GR has confirmed all of his internationals have come back fit and well. With Carr and Owen having been crocked on duty for the ROI and England this season God only knows what his reaction would have been if any more had been struck down. Speaking he said:

"We had four players out there last night in Kieron Dyer, Emre, Shay Given and Damien Duff. And as far as we are aware they are all OK. The only player who has come back with a problem is Oba Martins, who has a bit of earache. But this should not stop him playing on Saturday.'

Meanwhile Shay has bigged up fellow ROI man Damien Duff ahead of the weekend:

'It was one of his best performances for some time, but we know what he is all about. On Saturday (v Wales) he looked good as well. He is finding his form again. Duffer is getting back to his best.'

Needless to say it`ll take a miracle for him to reproduce it in a black and white shirt…

Hey Mike, as ever, very insightful. Yeah, I often wish players from other teams got injured, all the time. Oh them fit players, coming over here, stealing our footballs. You sir, are an idiot.
