'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Tiny Turk in the clear

With the racism case hanging over him for a good few months now it`s safe to say the performances of our diminutive Turkish midfielder have gone off the boil. Having been out with a calf injury for a long time, many fans thought this was being used as a cover for the fact the schemer was badly affected by the claims. Newspaper reports had circulated about Watford and Bolton players coming forward to testify against him but nothing seems to have come about from this. Finally the FA concluded that there wasn`t enough evidence to prove the claims of Howard and Lescott.

Emre has talked about playing football again and getting on with the rest of the season. However to me it looks like he`s just about got his bags packed and is ready to go. His quotes about quitting English football if found guilty hinted at a man who was on his way. Bayern, Galatasaray, Hertha Berlin and Fiorentina have all been mentioned in connection with him and the German giants have consistently been linked to a move when, as expected, Owen Hargreaves moves to the Mancs.

Emre is bang out of order wether it is normal to say things like that in his own country, it's not in ours, And he's said things to other players in other teams aswell IMO, there is no smoke without fire, what do you barcodes think?

Let him go, not at all bothered by him. Don't want to judge as I don't have the details weeman john, but as you say, smoke and fire!

Yes mate, hear what you are saying, don't think he is really a newcastle sort of player, and i'm with you didn't want to judge him myself, but the same racist stuff keeps on croping up about him?
