FFC Survey On Technology

Dear Football fan

The latest Football Omnibus survey gives you the chance to have your say on Goal Line Technology, Video Refereeing and the National Football Museum Click here to take part

At its meeting on 3rd March in Manchester, the International Football Association Board (IFAB), the guardian of the Laws of the Game, gave the go ahead for the development of goal-line technology for deciding whether a ball has crossed the line or not.

Any proposed system seeking IFAB approval must meet the following four principles:

The technology should apply only to goal-line technology
The system must be 100% accurate
The indication of whether or not the ball has crossed the line must be instantaneous between the system and the referee
The signal is communicated only to the match officials.
Watch do you think of the IFAB's decision? Click Here to take part

We are also running a quick survey on Football Management Video games and would appreciate it if you would take part.

There are just 6 questions, it should only take a minute of your time and you can earn FFC Reward points as ever.

Many thanks for your support

I like these surveys, don't know why but love passing on my opinions, shame no bugger listens!

goal line technology yes yes yes. Would like other re-players like in rugby and cricket as well, but not for too much. Just like pen decisions and then do video replays after the game for dangerous conduct and dirty cheating scummy diving.

We listen shearer#1. Sorry,w hat did you say again? As for technology, not sure, I am an old purist, the game ain't broke, why fix it? Maybe goal line although how often does that happen and the refs get it wrong?
