Latest Nobby Notes

Nobby on right back

'I am enjoying playing at right back. Many managers have used me on the right wing or even the left wing but Stephen Carr has been injured and you have to help the team. The manager asked me to play there and I am happy to do that. To do my job for the team is satisfying for me.'

Nobby on Milner

"James has been great he is a good boy - always up and down the field. He works very hard for the team and as a player he will learn more as he goes on. Don't forget he is just 21. He has scored some fantastic goals and in general his work rate is great.'

Nobby on the run-in

"March is a big month for us and we need to be at the races. We need to push for the top six from now until the end of the season. We want to finish the season well like last year. We need to start winning. It will be difficult because we have Arsenal and Chelsea and all the games are hard. But there are winnable games, like Charlton away and Watford away.'

Don't think the position suits him at all but hey, what do I know?
GeordieBoy
might be a wise move to move him back now as he doesn't bomb down the wings like he used to anyway. Bit like you though, not totally convinced.
MagpieMad
He's a better right back than that oompah loompah Carr. All he ever does is try to look hard whilst getting caught out of position every time. Just look at the Bolton home game.
