Non-Leaguer not wanted

Having had the lad on trial for a week and played him against Bolton Reserves, Glenn Roeder has decided against offering young Whitley bay striker Lee Kerr a professional contract. Club management believe he has a professional future in the game but is not ready for Premiership football at this stage. According to the Whitley Bay website there were another 8 clubs looking at the lad, so it looks like he is going to get a pro break sooner rather than later.

seen him play once, yeah he is a great footballer but as Glenn suggested dont think he is able to make premiership standards yet!!
