Baba in Nigeria recall
New Nigeria coach Bertie (Mc)Vogts has named a 37-man squad for his side's upcoming African Cup of Nations Qualifying tie against Uganda. As well as an expected call-up for Obafemi Martins, the Sweaty Sock rejecr has also named Baba in the mix - with some sources claiming that the 28 year-old is being offered a dual role of playing and being a 'defensive technical advisor'. No confirmation as yet whether Baba will go for this, or this turns out to be a kite-flying olive branch-type move from Nigeria towards a player who last featured for them in 2004
