It's All Gone Quiet Over There!

It's All Gone Quiet Over There!

Although the news of an alleged approach by Newcastle United to take Bolton boss Sam Allardyce has gone public, there has been no news from the Reebok giving the Toon a 'hands off' warning. And that is very unusual from a club confident of hanging into what they have.

But the Bolton Telegraph claim the Bolton boss would be interested in the move.

Bolton Telegraph: 'Allardyce, who is in his seventh year at the Reebok, turned down a chance to manage Newcastle 16 months ago, when Sir Bobby Robson was sacked. But there is a growing belief that his frustrations at still having to operate on a tight financial budget, despite taking Wanderers to unprecedented success, would make him more inclined now to say 'Yes' if Shepherd came calling again.'
