Newcastle boss Glenn Roeder has revealed he will be spending time at AC Milan as part of the final requirements for his UEFA coaching licence. Roeder will spend the end of the month in Italy filming a report on AC Milan's training methods for the final part of his UEFA A licence. Given the hoo-haa the LMA made when GR was appointed, hopefully they`ll be buying a bulk order to support one of their members:
'I have to do something in June as well as making a trip to AC Milan to do a DVD. And that's me done. It's been a fantastic course. Tony Adams and Mick McCarthy are on it. I'm looking forward to the presentation dinner and getting on with life. Gareth (Southgate) hasn't qualified for the B licence yet. I did it 10 years ago. A lot was said when both of us took the jobs but he has not done a bad job either.'
Meanwhile the boss also played down Jinky Jimmy Milner`s Saturday tantrum, saying it wasn`t meant at him, just the player himself:
"He was disappointed with his own performance, and that is what I want players to be like. His disappointment was completely directed at himself, which I find very positive and rewarding because there are so many players nowadays who do not always look at themselves.'
