Speaking to the Chronicle about life so far our US import has turned out to be a very media friendly sort of guy. He talked about earning his move, training techniques and his hopes for the rest of our season:
"As a player I put everything I have into every game. I don't think you have done the Newcastle United fans justice unless you are really tired after a game. My goal is to feel like that at the end of every game in a black-and-white shirt. I know I cannot play in the UEFA Cup games. That means I have time off when these games are played so I have to do well in training and every game that I do take part in. I have definitely settled OK at United. As a club Newcastle have been great with me and very accommodating. The players have been great and gave me a great welcome. The coaching staff have also been brilliant so I don't have any complaints.'
Here`s hoping for a great run in by the big Yank until the end of the season.
