Toto trophy before the real deal
NUFC have confirmed that the much maligned Intertoto Cup will be presented to the club before the Alkmaar game. In some attempt to further take the piss out of the trophy, the club have announced in true Pop-Idol style that the millionth person through the turnstiles this season will pick up the trophy with Scott Parker. The PA gadgie will announce a seat number at halftime on Saturday`s game with the Beasts and the holder of that ticket will no doubt have their mug plastered all over the papers.
