Sunday Gossip Round-Up
A pretty quiet Sunday today that focuses on defenders. First up is the story in the News of the World about us hijacking Boro`s deal for Woodgate. We allegedly spurned our first refusal option on the centre half when he went to Boro back in August and face a challenging task to take the player away from his home town club and also those teams interested in him following his outstanding displays for the Smogs this season. The paper even mentions using Luque as some sort of collateral in the deal.
The second rumour surrounds Paul Huntington and the fact a number of clubs are supposed to be sniffing around him. These include Manchester City, West Brom (should they be promoted) and Spurs, who Huntington scored against this season.
In terms of former players, a couple of standouts were the Bellamy and Aaron Hughes to the mackems rumours. Don`t do it lads!

Would you want Aaron Hughes back? He has been ok for Villa but only ok. Decent enough member of the squad, good back up, but really doesn't look like he'd help much to get to the next level.
