Newcastle Striker Heads Off On Loan

Newcastle Striker Heads Off On Loan

Bolton have added to their recent additions of Newcastle players with adding another after Sammy Ameobi went there.

This time they have managed to get Adam Armstrong on loan until January.

Armstrong has been on loan to various clubs over the past couple of years or so with newly promoted to the championship Bolton adding to the likes of Coventry and Barnsley as his hunting ground.

Armstrong had a brilliant season when on loan at Coventry as he hit 1 goal every 2 games to finish with 20 for the season two years ago albeit in the third tier.

Last season saw his ratio drop to 1 in 6 as he played in a struggling side and this year he will be expected to progress or he will see his chance of making it at St James' diminish in the future.

Still not 21 until next February though, Armstrong has time on his side, so this is a big season for him.
